Activities Across its Network of Talent Solutions Companies Showcase Global Commitment to Service

HANOVER, Md., Nov. 27, 2018 – In honor of #GivingTuesday, Allegis Group, the global leader in talent solutions, has published its 2018 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, highlighting the organization’s commitment to serving others. From Baltimore to London, Shanghai and beyond, employees spent the past year delivering career counseling, building homes, brightening classrooms, fundraising, providing hope and more. In addition, to acknowledge the company’s 35th anniversary, employees dedicated one month to giving back. In July alone, over 2,200 employees collectively gave more than 10,000 hours of service to 68 organizations worldwide – many with their families.

“Our commitment to creating opportunity through service has always been a part of Allegis Group and, through the dedication and selfless service of our team members, we know it will continue to remain a focus for years to come,” says Allegis Group President Andy Hilger. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished as a company and look forward to many more years of making opportunity possible for our people, our customers and our communities.”

Allegis Group focuses its CSR efforts on making a positive impact in its communities and through its people, aligning organizational commitments, volunteerism and financial support to entities focused on:

  • Education: Providing life skills and building blocks for youth to reach their full potential
  • Strengthening the Workforce: Career development and access to employment opportunities for underserved adults, veterans and people with disabilities
  • Employee Engagement: Supporting volunteerism through corporate and Allegis Group company partnerships, as well as grassroots causes employees are passionate about

Organizations Allegis Group partnered with over the past year include Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, the American Red Cross, Asociación de Padres de Familia con Hijos Deficientes Mentales, EnAble India and Heart to Heart Shanghai. Employees also made a difference with groups they personally connect with such as Boys Hope Girls Hope, Special Olympics, Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Casey Cares Foundation, the Pat Tillman Foundation, Per Scholas and The Princes Trust.

“We are incredibly humbled by how involved our employees are and for the opportunities that bring us together,” says Tanya Axenson, who oversees CSR strategy as Global Head of Human Resources for Allegis Group and Vice President of Human Resources for Aerotek, an Allegis Group company. “The work we do changes lives, whether it’s how we put people to work as the global leader in talent solutions or through the countless volunteer hours we dedicate to supporting great causes. Serving others and giving back have always been the bedrock of our success. So building on 35 years of strong CSR tradition, we will continue to seek creative, meaningful ways to rally together and make a difference.”
