Bengaluru, November 30, 2021 – Allegis Services India has been Certified by Great Place to Work® India as a Workplace with Inclusive Practices. Over the years, the internal teams have focused on creating opportunities for underrepresented talent pools, be it gender or persons with disability, and have evolved their programmes and practices to support inclusive workplace practices to foster the growth and progress of this talent pool.
As a global authority on workplace culture, Great Place to Work® has been studying employee experience and people practices across organisations for over three decades. Every year, more than 10,000 organisations from over 60 countries partner with Great Place to Work® Institute for assessment, benchmarking and planning of actions to strengthen their workplace culture.
First of its kind in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion space, the Workplace Inclusion Index™ was launched by Great Place to Work® Institute India, in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in 2021. This Study captures the experience of over 1,00,000 employees, of which 34% belong to historically excluded communities (including individuals who identify as women, other gender identities, LGBTIQA+, persons with disabilities, veterans, individuals returning from a career break, and other under-represented minorities in the country). Certified workplaces were further evaluated to arrive at India’s Best Workplaces in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion 2021. Certified workplaces were further evaluated to arrive at India’s Best Workplaces in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion 2021 on the basis of inclusive practices that cut across diverse demographic groups, adequate representation from diverse groups and also their employees’ experience of inclusion and sense of belonging in the workplace.
Great Place to Work® India has released a research report that has thoroughly studied the landscape of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in India. The report and the associated recognitions from this study can be viewed here.
“Inclusion has been at the core of how we do business and we have gained a lot by opening ourselves to diverse groups of people, thought, and expression”, said Managing Director Pravin Chand Tatavarti. “Over the past six years, our programmes have given way to successful career paths for persons with disability, who may have otherwise been overlooked in the talent landscape. We are learning every day, and I firmly believe our journey in the inclusion space is a lifelong one, filled with great learning opportunities.”
In India, the Institute partners with more than 1100 organisations annually, across over 22 industries, to help them build High-Trust, High-Performance Cultures™ designed to deliver sustained business results. Hundreds of CEOs and CXOs from India Inc. are part of the great place community that is committed to the vision of making India a great place to work FOR ALL.
