Job Summary



The Strategic Change Management Consultant is primarily responsible for providing dedicated consulting support for change initiatives, as well as promoting increased change capability in individuals and groups for a range of projects in assigned vertical areas.

The Strategic Change Management Consultant will work closely with key IS project team members, HR partners, and Operating Company partners by establishing and managing key relationships with business sponsors and other key stakeholders to implement a change management framework that enables the deployment of various concurrent projects and successfully prepares employees to adopt and sustain new behaviors and ways of working. The Strategic Change Management will focus on the people side of change ensuring effective change to business processes, systems/technology, job roles, and organization structures.

The Strategic Change Management Consultant will assess the level of change and develop and help execute an appropriate change management strategy, including all required leadership and stakeholder engagement, communication, and learning and development plans. The Strategic Change Management Consultant will work closely with the delivery teams, IS communications, HR, and other business partners to identify factors that affect the work plans of the assigned projects. The Strategic Change Management Consultant reports to the HR Manager - Strategic Change Management for his/her vertical, and is part of the Allegis Corporate Services Human Resources - Organization Effectiveness organization.

Essential Functions:

* Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of the business strategy, objectives, and goals
* Establish relationships with key project leaders/product owners, and business stakeholder
* Promote and sponsor joint IS/business partner interaction (ensure the collaboration between delivery teams and business partners) to foster a collaborative working environment with the various business departments and IS teams
* Apply a structured change management methodology and lead change-related activities
* Administer and complete change management assessments
* Develop change management strategy
* Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics
* Identify and manage anticipated resistance
* Create actionable deliverables for the following Change Management activities: Communication Strategy; Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement; Learning and Development
* Consult and advise project team members and key business partners in the change process
* Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
* Work with Project Managers/Scrum Masters to integrate change management activities into project plans
* Evaluate and ensure user readiness
* Track and report issues to the Project Manager / Leadership
* Define short and long-term change adoption metrics
* Monitor change adoption post implementation
* Aggressively address poor change adoption situations
* Support and engage with other change resources at the business level (Operating Companies)
* Manage the portfolio and change load of multiple projects as required
* Establish and manage a cross-operating company Change Network of key business stakeholders and IS team members
* Continuously improve and communicate Strategic Change Management procedures and workflows
* Set and continually manage Strategic Change Management expectations with team members and other stakeholders
* Coach, mentor, and lead project team members (IS and internal customers), educating each in the process and tools being used and their role in the process

Special Requirements:

* Some travel may be required (based upon needs of assigned projects)

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Change, Communication, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
* 7-10 years of experience as a Change, IT Project, or Communication Manager

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

* Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
* Proven successful track record working in large/complex multi-location programs/projects
* Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
* Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, cultures, and to all levels in an organization
* Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
* Ability to identify and resolve conflicts (personally, and with others)

* Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
* Knowledge of the Staffing Industry desired
