6 Allegis Group Leaders Named to SIA’s North American Staffing 100 List

We’re pleased to announce that six executives across our network of staffing and recruitment services companies have been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) on its 2017 North American Staffing 100 List. Now in its sixth year, the list highlights individuals who have made notable contributions to the world of work over the past 12 months. Making the list were (pictured above from left to right) Andy Hilger (Allegis Group), Chris Hartman (Allegis Group), Todd Mohr (Aerotek), Jay Alvather (TEKsystems), Chad Lane (Allegis Global Solutions), and Steve Schumacher (Allegis Global Solutions).

Our industry is at an inflection point where digital transformation and an evolving customer experience are shaping new paradigms in staffing and recruitment. With our leaders’ collective passion and the array of talent across of our entire enterprise, no one is more poised to capitalize on these opportunities than Allegis Group. Here are some insights into how these professionals earned their way onto SIA’s list.

Andy Hilger, President, Allegis Group: Promoted to president in November 2016, Andy fuels continued growth across every Allegis Group company. Prior to that, he was CIO, where he drove a critical evolution in the way Allegis Group leverages technology, enterprise data, and analytics to deliver an outstanding online and offline experience for its customers. Andy also spearheaded a key innovation program for Allegis Group that ensures a holistic, scalable, and agile approach to product development and delivery. This program is built on in-depth insight to voice-of-customer data across the Allegis Group enterprise and encompasses sales, recruiting, and customer-facing technologies. In addition, Andy has helped foster Allegis Group’s global expansion, leading the integration of the Talent2 and Aston Carter acquisitions, which expanded the enterprise’s footprint in APAC and EMEA, respectively.

Chris Hartman, Global Development Officer, Allegis Group: Chris has more than 23 years of experience with Allegis Group, where he leads a team focused on strategic investments and enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring the company’s continuous growth and responsiveness to marketplace trends and innovations. He has held a number of global leadership roles across the company in which he built new business units and drove key acquisitions, market acceleration, and leadership succession plans for long-term success. In 2016, he led the acquisition of The Stamford Group, a Switzerland-based staffing, recruiting, and services organization. Chris also served as executive sponsor for the enterprise data and analytics team, which successfully tackled data management and modernization initiatives to enhance Allegis Group’s analytical and decision making capabilities.

Todd Mohr, President, Aerotek: Since starting as a technical recruiter in 1995, Todd’s career has expanded to various roles and areas of leadership domestically and internationally, including regional vice president of Aerotek’s Northwest region, president of Allegis Group’s European operations, and chief operating officer of Aerotek. Today, with more than 6,000 employees across over 230 offices, Todd leads Aerotek’s growth, strategic direction, and financial performance. Under Todd’s leadership, Aerotek was recognized as a Best of Staffing Talent and Client leader, signifying its operational commitment to delivering on clients and contract employees’ wants and needs. Aerotek’s people-focused approach serves as a foundation of its customer experience and differentiates them from competitors as no other staffing company of comparable size achieved Best of Staffing for both talent and client.

Jay Alvather, President, TEKsystems: Jay joined the staffing industry in 1995 and has held a number of executive leadership positions across Allegis Group. Since taking the helm of TEKsystems in 2015, Jay has been devoted to building the leadership team, investing in new training and compensation programs for account managers and recruiters, and raising the bar for service and quality with customers and consultants. This focus ensures TEKsystems continues to provide superior IT talent and services to its customers and that the company culture built on relationships, serving others, and high performance remains strong. In 2016, TEKsystems earned the Military Friendly Employer distinction and was named one of the Best Workplaces for Women by Fortune and global research and consulting firm Great Place to Work.

Chad Lane, President, Allegis Global Solutions (AGS): Chad has spent more than 20 years in various leadership roles within Allegis Group’s network of companies and is currently AGS’ president, a position he first assumed from 2010 to 2013 and again in 2016. Under Chad’s recent leadership, AGS has gained market share across its managed services (MSP), recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), and services procurement (SOW) offerings. Chad also expanded AGS’ presence into new regions, including India and China. He previously served as vice president of operations, where he led global operations, MSP strategy and development, client implementations, and overall program management and expansions. In addition, as global managing director of recruitment for AGS, Chad spent three years in Asia Pacific, where he grew Allegis Group’s brand in APAC.

Steve Schumacher, Senior Vice President, MSP Operations, Allegis Global Solutions (AGS): With more than 20 years of staffing and recruitment industry experience, Steve leads the vision and strategy for AGS’ global MSP operations, as well as defines quality and operational excellence across AGS’ portfolio. Under his leadership in 2016, AGS launched SIGMA MSP, a first-of-its-kind contingent workforce management offering designed to support companies that traditionally rely on preferred supplier relationships or vendor-on-premise for candidate recruitment. He also led AGS’ unveiling of ACUMEN Workforce Intelligence, a next-generation interactive business intelligence platform that lets clients, suppliers, and program leaders monitor key performance indicators. Before assuming his current position, Steve worked exclusively to ensure the effective delivery of services and operational success of AGS’ North American customer base.
